ARCOPA specialises in processing the following three main species : Giant squid, anchovy and hake.

ARCOPA is the world's No 1 producer of anchovy surimi base. In 2008 surimi base production will reach 7000 tonnes.

  • processing plant surface area : 8000 m²
  • 1 hake filetting line
  • 2 production lines for fish surimi base 
  • 2 production lines for pota surimi base (giant squid)
  • 1 cooking line 

 

Freezing capacity : 90T/day.

The factory is fully climate controlled and employs up to 600 people depending on the product (day labourers). It takes delivery of up to 200 tonnes of raw materials per day.
